Minnesota Appeals Lawyer

Federal cases appealed in Minnesota go to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals which is based in St. Louis, Missouri.  A panel of three judges decide each case.  Although the Court will often permit the lawyers 10 or 15 minutes to argue their case before the panel and answer questions, the principle arguments are made in writing in appellate briefs.  A good appellate lawyer must have an strong ability to identify the best issues raised in a case, do thorough legal research, and be an excellent writer.  I have those skills.  I have been writing federal appeals for 25 years and have honed the skills to be a highly respected appeals lawyer.
